Is it free to list on Open Market?
Yes. Open Market offers a free plan so you can test demand before upgrading. Paid plans unlock additional listings and visibility, but upgrades are optional.
How many listings can I add?
The number of listings depends on your plan. Property listings, local services, and vehicle buy & sell listings all use the same listing credits. Business Profiles use a separate pricing model.
Do Business Profiles use the same pricing?
No. Business Profiles are priced separately. They focus on discovery and credibility, while properties, services, and vehicles use subscription-based listing credits.
Do I need to be a broker to list?
No. Open Market is not a brokerage. Owners, landlords, agents, and service providers may list directly, provided they comply with applicable laws.
Can property owners list directly?
Yes. Property owners may list their own properties. Open Market does not verify ownership, and accuracy and compliance are the responsibility of the listing owner.
Can I manage listings for someone else?
Yes, if you are authorized to do so. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to post and manage listings on behalf of others.
How do I choose between sale, rent, lease, or services?
During the listing process, you’ll select the appropriate listing type. Each category uses a tailored form designed for that listing.
Will my listings appear in search?
Yes. Active listings appear in search and on the map unless they expire, are unpublished, or are removed for policy violations.
Does Open Market handle payments or transactions?
