Yes. You can start with a free Profile plan. This gives your business a public presence on Open Market, including a public profile page, directory visibility, map visibility, and essential business details.
What’s included in the free Profile plan?
Profile includes a public business profile page, up to 3 gallery images, business overview, business summary, business highlights, business hours, service areas, direct messaging, and location on the map.
What’s included in Starter?
Starter includes everything in Profile, plus profile management, up to 10 gallery images, public phone number, public email address, public website link, social media links, and your business logo. It is the first contact-ready business listing plan.
What’s the difference between Profile, Starter, Showcase, and Prime?
Profile gives your business a basic public presence. Starter adds profile management and public contact details. Showcase adds featured placement, stronger map visibility, and eligibility for Recommended Nearby placement. Prime adds a verified business badge, priority placement in Recommended Nearby, and your strongest visibility across Open Market.
When do my phone number, email, website, and social links appear?
Public contact details start on Starter. That includes your phone number, email address, website link, and social media links. These fields are not part of the free Profile plan.
Can I start free and upgrade later?
Yes. You can start with a free Profile plan, then upgrade later to Starter, Showcase, or Prime when you want profile management, public contact details, featured placement, and stronger local visibility.
What does Recommended Nearby placement mean?
Recommended Nearby placement helps your business appear on other relevant business listings inside Open Market. Showcase is eligible for Recommended Nearby placement, while Prime gets priority placement for stronger cross-listing exposure.
What’s the difference between directory visibility and map visibility?
Directory visibility helps customers discover your business while browsing categories and search results. Map visibility helps customers find your business by location and service area. Together, they help your business get found locally across Open Market.
Do I need a paid plan to appear on Open Market?
No. A free Profile plan can already appear publicly in the directory and on the map. Paid plans are for businesses that want profile management, public contact visibility, stronger placement, and more competitive presentation.
Can I manage a business listing for someone else?
Yes, if you are authorized to do so. You are responsible for making sure you have permission to create, upgrade, and manage a listing on behalf of a business.
Does Open Market verify business information?
Open Market does not independently verify all user-submitted information. Businesses are responsible for keeping their listings accurate, current, and compliant. A verified badge reflects platform status, not a guarantee of every business detail.
Does Open Market handle transactions or customer payments?
No. Open Market is a business discovery platform. It does not handle transactions, customer payments, or private agreements between businesses and customers.
